Joyful, busy, and active family would love to find a terrific, hands-on, engaging, confident, & loving, LIVE-IN nanny. The children are 11(g), 5(g) & 3(b) and all of them attend school Monday through Thursday. This family appreciates the arts & music. Dad is a law professor and works from his home office. Mom is an opera singer and has a music studio in the home. She travels to perform internationally and domestically. The family is very active in their faith. (Latter-day Saints). They attend church every week, and the children are involved in church activities, music lessons, sports, and dancing. There are no special needs or pets.

The ideal nanny will be highly responsible, warm, and engaging. The children love to do art projects and outdoor activities. Must have great common sense, the ability to make decisions, be willing to actively participate in play with the children, able to climb stairs, and be an excellent driver. Must be willing to do light housework, dishes, laundry, and general tidying up. Must be able to cook simple meals at least 2 times per week. The older two children walk to school and the nanny will drive the youngest to and from his preschool. The nanny should be able to assist with homework and encourage the children to practice their music and other activities. The children are involved in piano, voice, ballet, and track. Accommodations will be a furnished private room/bath on the lower level of the home, with a mini-kitchen and sitting area. Car provided.

Responsibilities:
Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment
Light housekeeping
Meal preparation
Child’s laundry
Organizational skills to (include household and child’s areas)
Transportation from school to activities and home (car provided)
Running errands (grocery shopping etc.) as needed
Provide lovingly set boundaries and daily routines, collaborating with parents
Bathing, brushing teeth, dressing for bed, preparing for the next day
Communicating with parents about school notes, schedules, and activities
Keeping track of supplies
Encourage age-appropriate developmental activities
Provide opportunities for structured and unstructured play

Schedule:
Start Date: October 15, 2022 (Flexible for the right candidate)
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5:30, 45 hours per week; Possible later nights on Monday & Thursday when Mom is traveling.

Requirements:
● 2-4+ years of childcare experience (ideally in a private home)
● Experienced with infants and toddlers
● Fluent in English
● Proper documentation to work in the U.S.
● Minimum High School, College preferred
● Verifiable references
● Driver’s license
● Good driving record
● CPR/1st Aid Certified
● Punctual & highly reliable
● Non-smoker
● Vaccinated for COVID-19
● Must follow the family’s requirements for COVID-19 safety
● Background Investigation

Compensation:
W-2 Employee
$18-25 per hour (DOE)
40 hours per week guaranteed
PTO: 10 days & holidays
