Nanny Full-time in Preston Hollow, Dallas! (75225)

UPDATE: FILLED! Sweet 4 year old girl needs a full-time nanny/companion to care for her Monday-Friday, with Saturday hours optional but preferred. Daily activities include taking her to the park across the street and actively monitoring play, simple meal preparation laundry & light housekeeping (child related). Guaranteed 40 hours per week, but closer to 45-50 hours. Family is very cautious about COVID-19. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and maintain responsible behavior outside of work. Willing to be vaccinated for influenza this fall and have a recent Tdap vaccine. Must be willing to wear a mask indoors during high transmission phases (parents will also mask when the nanny or other staff is there). Must be able to physically go up and down stairs multiple times daily and be able to lift 35-50 pounds. The ideal candidate will love working with children and be responsible, warm, easy going, fun, and trustworthy.

Responsibilities:

Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment
Light housekeeping (child related)
Meal preparation
Child’s laundry
Organizational skills to (include household and child’s areas)
Provide lovingly set boundaries and daily routines, collaborating with parents
Bathing, brushing teeth, and dressing
Communicating with parents regularly by phone or text
Keeping track of supplies
Encourage age appropriate developmental activities
Provide opportunities for structured and unstructured play
Arts & crafts
Run errands as needed

Schedule:

Start Date: October 2021

Full-time/Live-out

Guaranteed 40 hours (more likely 45-50) per week

Monday-Friday with additional hours on Saturday preferred (not required)

Occasional nights

Occasional travel with the family

Requirements:

5-10+ years of childcare experience
Legal to work in the U.S.
College education preferred
Fluent in English
Verifiable references
Driver’s license
Good driving record
Reliable transportation
CPR/1st Aid Certified
Punctual & highly reliable
Non-smoker
Vaccinated for COVID-19
Willing to be vaccinated for Flu this fall
Current Tdap vaccine
Must follow the family’s requirements for COVID-19 safety including wearing a mask in the home if required
Must practice social distancing, frequent hand washing, and wearing a mask in public as recommended by the CDC.
