This HP family is searching for a professional, career nanny for their family who understand
attachment parenting and Waldorf/Montessori type teaching. This is a full-time, live-out position
in the Austin, Texas home. They are on the hunt for a phenomenal nanny to support the family
and care of their one year old son. Both parents are entrepreneurs who work from home
throughout the week and travel regularly. They are a fun loving playful family who practices, and
deeply appreciates, open and clear communication.
Family values are very important to the family. The right fit for this position will align with their
values, have a background in childhood education, and be more than happy to travel with the
family as needed. They are seeking a career nanny who will be dedicated to the family for
years to come. Must be willing to sign an NDA and maintain confidentiality.
Nanny Job Responsibilities:
● Provides customized and personalized childcare and education.
● Administers one-on-one care and meets the physical, emotional, social, and
intellectual needs of the child as he grows.
● Contributes to a safe, positive, caring, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which
the child can thrive and develop.
● Keeps the play areas neat and tidy.
● Transports the child to and from activities, grocery shop for him when necessary, and
maintain his daily schedule.
● Meal preparation for child and mother
● Light cleaning/housekeeping in the kitchen and play areas.
● Wash, dry, fold and put away laundry for the entire family. (negotiable)
Schedule
Monday – Friday 9am – 3pm
Saturday 10am – 2pm
34 hours guaranteed per week
Extra weekday evening and weekend hours will be available to pick up as well occasionally.
Nanny Qualifications/Skills:
● Creating a safe, nurturing environment

● Excellent communication skills
● Detail and task oriented
● Must be over 18 years old
● High School Diploma or GED preferred
● Infant/Toddler or Early Childhood education training, certificate, or degree. Ideally in
Montessori or Waldorf styles.
● CPR/FA, 1 & 2 (within 6-12 months of hire), and CPI certification
● Must have a valid in-state driver’s license, provide current registration and insurance,
and have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years
● Experience cooking healthy meals and doing meal prep for children.
● Being Bilingual in English and Spanish is ideal.
● COVID vaccinations are not required and masks are not allowed in the home.
● The family’s preference is a nanny who is NOT vaccinated with COVID.
Compensation
W-2 Employee $25-35 per hour DOE
10 days PTO + 3 paid sick days
All expenses paid including private accommodations when traveling.
