Nanny of the Month: Congratulations to Kira Corona!

Choose The Right Nanny is proud to recognize Kira Corona as our Nanny/Family Assistant of the Month!  We are thrilled to have placed Kira with a wonderful family in Boerne, Texas, and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate the extraordinary care and compassion she brings to every family she serves.

Meet Kira

Kira was born to nurture. As the eldest of eight siblings, she naturally stepped into a caregiving role from a young age. Raised between Wyoming and Colorado, Kira eventually made her home in San Antonio, Texas, where she raised five wonderful children—three daughters and twin boys —and is now a proud grandmother to a spirited 4-year-old grandson.

Kira is married to a retired Air Force veteran of 23 years and has dedicated her life to caring for children and supporting families. Her extensive experience spans infants, multiples, and children with special needs. She has worn many hats throughout her life, including referee, coach, mentor, personal assistant, Uber driver, Sunday School teacher, and of course—nanny and babysitter. Her nurturing spirit, boundless energy (she’s a two-time marathon runner!), and joyful attitude make her truly one of a kind.

In addition to her childcare expertise, Kira is incredibly multi-talented. She has raised and trained dogs, enjoys crafting educational activities with kids, and delights in cooking, especially baking! Her creativity shines through her love of painting and being outdoors. Kira also enjoys traveling and is open to accompanying families on their journeys.

What Kira says:

My initial experience with Choose The Right Nanny was during the interview process. I found myself so at ease, Merrilan made my interview feel more like having coffee with a friend.
